    Children’s Underground provides a safe space for children to enjoy hands-on activities and explore.
    Check our calendar for kid-friendly programs, like story times!Opened in 1996, this beloved space has welcomed generations of children. A kid-sized frontier town, blocks, puzzles, coloring pages, stuffed animals and puppets, and a train set enable children to use their imagination. A cozy reading nook, with books provided by generous donors, including the Lupine Society of Readers, offers a quiet space for kids to settle in with a good story.

    Children’s Underground is a great place for playdates as well. When you visit Children’s Underground, don’t forget to say hi to Tommy, the resident Eastern Chicken Turtle!

    The Yakima Valley Museum will be open on Sundays thru the Summer from May 31 to September 6
