Discover World-Class Wines & Warm Welcomes
For more than 40 years, the Yakima Valley has been Washington’s wine source, home to more than 1/3 of the state’s vineyards. Winemakers throughout Washington and beyond prize the exceptional grapes grown in Valley vineyards – and you’ll taste that excellence in every glass on your tour of Yakima Valley wineries.
Discovering world-class wines is just one way a trip to Yakima Valley Wine Country becomes something special. It’s also the laid-back pace, the unpretentious personality of the place and an atmosphere that’s approachable, that encourages curiosity and urges you to explore, no matter what your wine knowledge is at the start. It’s the fact that you can taste with the winemaker one moment and wander among the vines the next. It’s, quite simply, the way you feel welcome.
